AutoVend collects information to provide better services to all our merchants. We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you give us: For example, when you sign up for a AutoVend account, we ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number, or credit card to store with your account.
• Information we get from your use of our services: We collect information about the services that you use and how you use them, like when you connect a messaging channel (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect and improve them, to develop new ones, and to protect AutoVend and our users.

We use your contact details to communicate with you about your account, payment processing, and system updates. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. M-Pesa & Payment Data

AutoVend integrates directly with the Safaricom Daraja API. We do not store your customer's M-Pesa PINs or full transaction history beyond what is necessary to verify payment and trigger product delivery. Your API credentials are encrypted at rest.

4. KRA eTIMS Compliance

When you opt for our eTIMS integration, we transmit required sales data to the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) systems as per legal requirements. This data is handled with the highest Level of security and confidentiality.
